BROOKE COUNTY CLAIMS TWO SEATS ON STATEWIDE MATH EDUCATION BOARD
WELLSBURG, W.Va. — Two Brooke County math teachers have secured seats on the West Virginia Council of Teachers of Mathematics (WVCTM) board, following elections held at the organization’s annual conference.
Dana Stoll, a math teacher at Brooke Middle School, was re-elected to continue serving as Vice President of Elementary. Karen Keener, of Brooke High School, was elected as Vice President of Secondary, joining the board for her first term.
With Stoll’s continued service and Keener’s election, Brooke County Schools now has three educators on the WVCTM board. Jami Packer presently serves as President of the organization.
The West Virginia Council of Teachers of Mathematics is a professional organization dedicated to promoting excellence in mathematics education across the state.
