🎨💚💛 Brooke High School Art Students Earn National-Level AP Recognition! 💛💚🎨

Brooke County Schools is proud to celebrate the extraordinary accomplishments of two Brooke High School art students whose talent, creativity, and dedication have earned them exceptional scores on the AP Studio Art Portfolio exams!

🌟 Anneliese Schupbach

Anneliese achieved the remarkable feat of earning perfect scores of 5 on both her AP Drawing and AP 3-D Art portfolios this year. The AP 3-D portfolio is widely recognized as one of the most challenging in the nation, and Anneliese was the only student in West Virginia to earn a 5 in AP 3-D Art this year. Having also earned a 5 on her AP 2-D Art portfolio last year, she has now received a perfect score on all three AP Studio Art portfolios—an incredible accomplishment.

🌟 Deedra Groves

Deedra earned a 5 on her AP 2-D Art portfolio this year after receiving a 4 on her AP Drawing portfolio last year. Her outstanding score places her among just eight students in West Virginia to earn a 5 in AP 2-D Art this year.

Art teacher Sara Roark shared:

"They are truly two of the hardest-working, most talented students a teacher could ever hope for. This marks the third consecutive year Brooke High School has had students earn 5s on AP portfolios, and I couldn't be more excited to continue the streak."
