The Drone Teams have done it again.
Brooke High and Middle School Drones teams dominated at the statewide tournament in Charleston. Brady Yost and Silas Mazella played a Cinderella story to come out of the woodwork and shock the higher ranked teams by advancing to the second round of the eliminations. Jimmy Demaria and Grayson Robinson stand tall with the Judges award for scoring the first ever 214 perfect score in an elimination round.
Country Drones Take Me Home brought home the first-place trophy for the Teamwork Challenge and the Skills Challenge. In addition, Country Drones and their partner scored a perfect round of 214 in the final match to put the nails in the coffin for the competition.
Andrew Mockbee, Xander DeSimone, Kairi Faulkner, and Zabastian Utt all scored a new personal best in skills competition, upping their ranking to fifth in the world.
