We are 100 Days Smarter this school year! Dress as your 100 year old self or wear a 100th day of school t-shirt! Friday, February 27th!

Exciting News & Important Traffic Update:
Tomorrow, we have the privilege of welcoming the Northern Headstart Preschool Classroom to our school community!
To ensure a smooth transition for everyone, please note that the preschool will share our drop-off and pick-up areas but on a different schedule.
Action Required: To avoid traffic conflicts, please do not begin lining up on Main Street for afternoon pick-up until at least 2:50 PM.
I greatly appreciate your cooperation and help in making our new neighbors feel welcome!

Support your favorite team tomorrow by wearing their colors! I bet you can't guess what colors Mrs. Mills will have on!

Blanket orders have arrived! Many orders can be sent home with students in their backpacks. The blankets are individually vacuum sealed. If you ordered fewer than five, then yours will be sent home. Any more than that will need to be picked up at the school starting today. You can come now until 2:00. Then again, from 3:30 until 4:30.

Bring a toy to the Christmas Concert and be entered in a drawing for a really great Winter Themed Prize!!

Wednesday is our Christmas program at BHS auditorium. The high school will not allow anyone to park until 8:30 and the doors to the program will not be open until 8:45. We will try to start the program at 9:00am as soon as we know everyone is seated. We look forward to celebrating the season with you!

If your student returned a form for our Veterans Day Event and indicated that they will be bringing a guest of honor, please email a picture of your veteran to stephanie.gordon@k12.wv.us. Also, please include the branch they served in.
Due to chilly weather and high winds, we are not parading at the park. We will parade inside the building. This will be for students only. I will video the parade and post it to our PTSA page only. The classroom parties will be right after.
I am so sorry about the late notice. I thought I already sent this out. Please forgive me! If it is raining, we will not have the kids walk. It will have to be a downpour though to keep us from walking. Send the costume to school. NO WEAPONS. Minimal make-up is allowed and must be worn to school. We do have some volunteers available to help each classroom get students into costumes.
