By wearing blue, we show our commitment to acceptance, kindness, and support for individuals with autism and their families.

BROOKE COUNTY CLAIMS TWO SEATS ON STATEWIDE MATH EDUCATION BOARD
WELLSBURG, W.Va. — Two Brooke County math teachers have secured seats on the West Virginia Council of Teachers of Mathematics (WVCTM) board, following elections held at the organization’s annual conference.
Dana Stoll, a math teacher at Brooke Middle School, was re-elected to continue serving as Vice President of Elementary. Karen Keener, of Brooke High School, was elected as Vice President of Secondary, joining the board for her first term.
With Stoll’s continued service and Keener’s election, Brooke County Schools now has three educators on the WVCTM board. Jami Packer presently serves as President of the organization.
The West Virginia Council of Teachers of Mathematics is a professional organization dedicated to promoting excellence in mathematics education across the state.
On March 10th, we are asking ALL Brooke County Schools staff & students to join BHS PreK in wearing ORANGE to show district-wide support for Laiden and to help raise awareness for Brugada Syndrome.
🧡 Why Orange?
Wearing orange is a simple but powerful way to stand together for students facing rare medical conditions. On March 10th, our united effort will help spread awareness and show Laiden that the entire Brooke County Schools community is behind him.
Brugada Syndrome is a rare, inherited heart rhythm condition that affects the heart’s ability to pump normally. It involves irregular rhythms that begin in the lower chambers of the heart and can be detected through an irregular ECG, which measures the heart’s electrical activity.🧡
