Due to the recent storm/power outages that caused the closure of schools, our end of year calendar has changed. The school district applied for a WVDE waiver for the two days to be excused but the waiver was denied. The requirements for the waiver to be accepted are: by order of the state superintendent in any county declared a federal disaster area and in any county subject to an emergency or disaster declaration by the Governor. Therefore, the two days are required to be made up. The following changes have been made: · May 28th – Regular School Day · May 29th – Regular School Day · May 30th- 2-hour early dismissal (last day of school) · June 2nd – Teacher Prep Day (last day for staff)
